HKC Unveils Flagship Smart Surface In-Vehicle Display, Reshaping the New Experience of Cockpit Interaction

Accurately grasping the development trend of the industry, HKC has officially launched its all-new 10.1-inch smart surface display, which is tailor-made for application scenarios such as rear-seat armrests in vehicles. In addition, the product made its debut at the 2026 CES, alongside other new products in HKC’s in-vehicle display series, fully demonstrating HKC’s innovative strength and forward-looking layout in the in-vehicle display sector to industry partners worldwide.

This product is equipped with a metal-textured smart surface cover plate co-developed by HKC and Corning. As a core component deeply adapted to the display panel, it not only ensures high strength and durability of the product, but also achieves a delicate integration of exquisite texture and technological aesthetics. Its unique structural design supports vertical bending, enabling flexible adaptation to curved-surface application needs such as rear-seat armrest displays in vehicles. It realizes a more integrated and premium design expression within limited space, facilitating the integrated upgrading of the overall vehicle interior style.

In terms of display performance, this 10.1-inch smart surface display also delivers impressive results. Boasting a high contrast ratio of 1000:1, it presents clearer picture layers with well-defined details in dark areas. With a wide color gamut coverage of 75% NTSC, it restores colors naturally and realistically, satisfying the dual demands of multimedia entertainment and information display. Featuring a peak brightness of up to 1000 nits, the display remains clearly visible even under strong light conditions, comprehensively enhancing the user experience for rear-seat passengers.

In terms of interactive flexibility and viewing angle optimization, the product supports a maximum flip angle of 60°, effectively accommodating different sitting postures and usage scenarios for more flexible and convenient operation. Meanwhile, the cover plate has a CG light transmittance of over 70%, which ensures display brightness while reducing energy consumption, contributing to the efficiency optimization of the overall vehicle system.
